Hebrews 1-11 Review

God has fulfilled the Old Covenant with the New Covenant in Jesus Christ.

In Hebrews we see:

1. Jesus is a superior revelation of God, 1:5–2:18
2. Jesus offers a superior rest from God, 3:1–4:16
3. Jesus is a superior representative before God, 5:1–7:28
4. Jesus mediates a superior covenant from God, 8:1–13
5. Jesus serves in a superior tabernacle from God, 9:1–28
6. Jesus offers a superior sacrifice to God, 10:1–38

As the people of God have always walked with him by faith (chapter 11), so we too must continue in faith, running our race while always "looking to Jesus."

Our transformation in Christ will be evident in our lives individually and corporately as we, through Christ, "continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name."
