Psalm 32

1) What is sin?

Transgression, Rebellion, Missing the mark of God's holy standard, taking a good gift and twisting it for evil purposes, deceit.

2) How does God respond to sin?

Toward Unbelievers: Displeasure and hatred, multiplying their sorrows, righteous judgement

Toward believers:  A heavy hand, hiding himself, and discipline

3) How do we respond to sin?

"I kept silent" - (wrong answer)

(right answers) - "I acknowledge my sin", "I did not cover my iniquity"

4) How does God respond to confession?

Forgiveness, covering, not counting sin against us

5) How do we respond to forgiveness?

Enjoying blessedness, praising God, sharing our testimony, instructing others

In Christ, we are forgiven!

In Christ, we are blessed!
